Well, that was a crazy year. I’m not in a real summarizing kind of mood, but I will say that while 2007 was a great year, I’m also glad it’s over.

I don’t really believe in New Year’s resolutions, but here are some of my goals:

• Redesign this blog (already in progress) and blog more frequently and with more substantive content.
• Get some more of my home technology stuff up and running: my home entertainment center, the home network, getting as many of our DVDs ripped as possible, etc. I’d also like to find a cheap box to play with Ubuntu on.
• Read more. (I say this every year, though.)
• Walk more. (I say this every year, though.)
• Try to be a good husband and father.

As crazy and wonderful as this year has been, I can’t imagine it beginning to compare with what will happen in the next.

KC: “No, I’m using the new toothbrush now.”
RB: “I’m going to throw this one out then.”
KC: “No, wait. I might be able to use it for something!”
RB: [gives puzzled look]
KC: “I mean, you never know when you might need an old toothbrush!”
